About the Role

We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join the engineering organization. You’ll work closely with the rest of our product development team as a force multiplier on both scaling our AI first initiatives and maintaining our AWS platform. If you’re looking to contribute directly to the growth and success of our rapidly growing young company, then this is the right place for you!

This is an in-office position in our Austin office.

Responsibilities

• Be the primary owner of our AWS based infrastructure and Github based CI/CD platform.
• Pioneer the implementation and rollout of our AI assisted development efforts across the entire product development team.
• Bring best in class practices around monitoring, observability and incident management to the organization.
• Investigate potential errors and alerts in our platform and address outages in a timely manner to support SLA requirements. Additionally, create and/or update playbooks as necessary.
• Collaborate with engineering leadership on security and compliance initiatives
• Mentor team members in DevOps/Infrastructure best practices

Required Experience:

• 6+ years building and maintaining docker based platforms on AWS using an Infrastructure-As-Code systems in Terraform and/or Ansible
• 4+ years experience in using Python as a scripting language used in combination with a CI/CD platform
• Experience in building, managing, and scaling Github Actions based CI/CD pipelines
• Experience building and maintaining developer tooling
• Experience setting up and maintaining a DataDog monitoring system
• Experience in building software and systems that is secure by design
• Team player with a focus on making the whole group better

Bonus Qualifications:

• Prior experience in Information/Cyber Security
• Prior experience in healthcare or working with healthcare data
