Build the Future of Brain Health: Senior Software Engineer at Isaac Health
Our Company
At Isaac Health, we're on a mission to improve brain health at the population level by providing greater access to specialty brain health and dementia care services for all. We believe that everyone everywhere deserves to get the care they need, and are striving to make care convenient and accessible while tackling the stigmas that surround brain health conditions.
Since launching in 2022, Isaac Health has scaled to provide brain health and dementia care services to more patients and families across the US. With support from leading healthcare investors, and impactful leaders like you, we’ll continue to provide high-quality patient-centered care for the evaluation and management of brain health conditions and deliver exceptional client and family outcomes for years to come. With a heavy focus on clinical quality and safety in all that we do, we’ve accomplished excellent outcomes for our clients:
- 92% of members report an improvement against their cognitive goals in only 3 weeks after working with Isaac Health.
- 73% of members or their care partners continue to report improvement in neurocognitive symptoms after 6 months
This is just the beginning for Isaac Health, and we won’t stop building, growing, and iterating until everyone, everywhere can access high-quality, evidence-based brain health and dementia care without high costs or long wait times. We’re looking for mission-driven leaders who share these values, and we need your help as we transform access to high-quality brain health care in the United States and beyond.

The Role
We’re looking for a mid-career Software Engineer to join our team. We are a tech-enabled healthcare organization rather than a tech company: we build internal platforms to support our physicians and other providers in their work, as well as patient and partner-facing functionality. We’re scaling virtual care across the country, using tech to drive high quality patient outcomes.
This role is perfect for someone interested in a fast-growing company. You will have the opportunity to lead projects, drive architecture, and work closely with clinical providers to make them more efficient. We anticipate more hiring this year, and there’s the option to take on mentoring/people management opportunities while still being an individual contributor.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement full-stack features, with a primary focus on data architecture and backend/system design.
- Collaborate with team members to deliver high-quality, user-friendly, and accessible product experiences.
- Continuously analyze and improve product success metrics and workflows to optimize user satisfaction.
About You
- A mid-career software engineer, with strong backend skills, looking to advance over time to team leadership
- Able to independently identify and solve complex problems, recognizing when to seek assistance to maintain progress and efficiency
- Excellent at communicating with both technical and non-technical audiences
- Excited by ambiguity, fast-paced environments, and the opportunity to help shape the direction of a growing company
- Experience in a typed language (we use C#/.NET but are open to analogous experience)
Nice to Have
- Experience in healthcare or other privacy-centric verticals
- Exposure to relational databases, .NET, event-driven architecture, and modern frontend frameworks (primarily React)
- Knowledge of common design patterns and best practices for maintainability and security
What We Offer
- Salary range: $120-140k + equity
- Benefits
- 401k
- Medical (including OneMedical membership)

- Mission-driven impact:
- Shape the future of the #1 largest and fastest growing online brain health care company in the world
- Build a platform that is improving the lives and well-being of hundreds of thousands of people, including those that come from historically underserved groups
- Join a community of high achievers who have a passion for promoting brain health
- Remote-first model:
- Work virtually from anywhere in the United States
- If you’re in NYC, we have an office in the Financial District where core team members work on a hybrid basis
- Culture and connectivity:
- A highly responsive and supportive team of clinical and operational management
- Opportunity to participate in strategic development initiatives to improve our clinical quality, safety, and processes across the organization
