Part-Time (PRN) Infusion Nurse – Registered Nurse (RN)

Locations: Alexandria, Springfield, and Sterling, VA (with occasional coverage in MD)

The Role

We’re seeking a flexible and dependable Registered Nurse (PRN) to provide as-needed coverage at our Virginia care centers in Alexandria, Springfield, and Sterling, with occasional support in Maryland. This role is ideal for an RN who enjoys variety, autonomy, and making an impact as a coverage nurse during vacations, weekends, and other gaps in scheduling. There are no guaranteed hours, but this is a great opportunity to stay clinically active in a modern, patient-first setting—with potential for future full-time opportunities.

In This Role, You Will:

• Provide direct infusion and injection care following established protocols

• Monitor, assess, and document patient condition throughout treatment

• Communicate clearly with prescribing providers regarding care coordination

• Maintain accurate records within the EHR system

• Ensure a clean, safe, and well-stocked clinical environment

• Travel between assigned care centers as needed

• Step in to cover shifts during weekends, PTO, holidays, or as requested

What We’re Looking For:

• Active and unrestricted RN license in Virginia

• BLS required; ACLS & PALS preferred

• Strong IV placement skills and prior infusion therapy experience preferred

• Familiarity with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems

• At least 2 years of experience in an outpatient or ambulatory care setting preferred

• Reliable, communicative, and flexible with scheduling

• Willingness to travel to nearby locations and work a PRN (as-needed) schedule
