Role Overview: Pharmacist in Charge (PIC)
Job Overview:
The Pharmacist will contribute to the company’s growth and quality through overseeing pharmaceutical care delivery while providing a delightful patient experience. The Pharmacist will ensure our patients receive the highest level of care possible in infusion therapy through the medications they receive.
This is a part-time role with a planned (tentative) transition to full-time status by February 2026.
Key Responsibilities:
Efficiently and accurately processing orders and dispensing medications in accordance with Local Infusion processes and regulatory requirements
Maintaining accurate inventory records and ensuring adequate medications and supplies
Communicating with patients when questions arise to ensure quality care
Collaborating with referring and internal providers to optimize patient outcomes
Ensuring pharmacy regulatory requirements and industry standards are met
Assisting with operational and clinical tasks as necessary
Must be willing to work part-time initially, transitioning to full-time hours.
Qualifications:
Licensed pharmacist with a valid license in the state of New Jersey
2+ years experience practicing as a pharmacist in pharmacy operations, performing administrative tasks, and navigating insurance authorizations. Experience serving as a PIC preferred.
Strong knowledge of regulatory and accreditation standards
Excellent organizational and communication skills
Ability to work independently and remotely, with occasional site visits
Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of practice
