Member Success Specialist — Health Technology
PreemptiveAI
👋 About Preemptive Health
PreemptiveAI is an AI-driven healthcare company pioneering a new era of truly proactive medicine.
For too long, healthcare has been reactive—relying on occasional checkups and waiting for symptoms to appear. We believe it’s time for continuous, anticipatory care that identifies challenges before they become crises, freeing clinicians to focus on what truly matters: improving lives.
We combine advanced technology and human care to help people stay ahead of health issues through simple, proactive insights powered by their smartphones. Our mission is to make preventive, personalized healthcare accessible to everyone by turning everyday technology into a proactive health companion.
🎯 The Opportunity
We’re looking for a driven Member Success Specialist who thrives at the intersection of empathy, communication, and innovation. You’ll connect with individuals who want to take a more proactive approach to their health and help them get the most from participation in the Preemptive program.
This is a high-impact, fast-paced role at the front line of a growing healthcare technology company — perfect for someone who loves building trust, communicating clearly, and helping people adopt new ideas that improve their lives.
💼 What You’ll Do
- Help drive the member experience end-to-end from onboarding through ongoing check-ins, making sure every member feels supported, heard, and cared for.
- Schedule and coordinate appointments (intake calls, follow-ups, clinician visits) and ensure members show up to their telehealth visit prepared and confident.
- Guide members through setup and troubleshooting for smartphone-based measurements and remote patient monitoring, including common device, camera, and app issues.
- Collect and document demographics and insurance information during intake and follow-ups and route the right information to the clinical team.
- Monitor dashboards and member signals to spot gaps (missed measurements, incomplete onboarding, low engagement) and proactively reach out to keep members on track.
- Communicate with warmth and clarity via phone, text, and email, meeting older adults where they are and helping them feel comfortable with technology.
- Coordinate across teams (clinicians, care managers, ops, engineering) to resolve member issues quickly and improve the product and care experience.
- Maintain accurate records in CRM and clinical tooling with strong attention to detail, ensuring every interaction is captured and follow-ups never slip.
- Improve workflows and playbooks by sharing recurring member friction points and helping build scalable processes as the program grows.
🧭 Who You Are
- A high-empathy communicator who builds trust quickly, especially with individuals who may feel hesitant about new technology.
- Proactive and detail-oriented: you follow up relentlessly, keep systems updated, and don’t let anything fall through the cracks.
- Tech-forward: you can learn new tools fast, interpret dashboards, and confidently guide someone through steps on their phone.
- A natural relationship builder who enjoys helping people feel seen, supported, and motivated.
- Operationally sharp: you like checklists, clean notes, clear handoffs, and tight workflows.
- Growth-minded: you want to help build the playbook, not just follow one.
📘 Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent practical experience)
- Strong communication skills and a warm, professional presence on phone, text, and email
- Comfort learning new tools quickly and working across multiple systems (CRM, calendars, dashboards, spreadsheets)
- Able to guide someone step-by-step through basic smartphone setup and troubleshooting (iPhone/Android, app permissions, camera use, connectivity)
- Highly organized with strong follow-through, accurate documentation, and attention to detail
- Reliable, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where priorities can shift
💰 Compensation & Growth
- Base salary: $45,000 – $65,000 per year
- Competitive benefits package
- Clear advancement path to Supervisor and Team Lead roles
- Direct access to founders, rapid learning, and meaningful influence on company growth
