About Preemptive
Preemptive is building the future of proactive healthcare. We combine AI, proprietary physiological data, software, and clinical care to identify risk earlier, engage members more personally, and help prevent serious health events before they happen.
About the Role
We’re hiring a Chief of Staff to help the CEO and leadership team operate with more focus, follow-through, and leverage as we scale.
This is a high-trust, execution-heavy role for someone who is organized, proactive, and great at making things move. You will help bring structure to fast-moving work, keep priorities on track, improve coordination across teams, and reduce friction across the business.
This is not a pure strategy role. It is for someone who likes turning decisions into action, driving accountability, improving the way a company runs, and stepping in wherever needed to help leadership stay effective.
This role is ideal for a strong operator early in their career who wants unusually high exposure, ownership, and learning in a fast-moving startup environment.
What You’ll Do
Partner closely with the CEO and leadership team on key priorities and day-to-day execution
Drive follow-through on important initiatives and make sure decisions turn into action
Run core internal cadences, including leadership meetings, weekly check-ins, action tracking, and follow-ups
Keep priorities, timelines, and owners clear across multiple workstreams
Help improve internal processes, communication, documentation, and reporting
Identify bottlenecks or things falling through the cracks, then help solve them quickly
Support cross-functional work across growth, product, clinical, operations, recruiting, and special projects
Prepare agendas, notes, briefs, and materials for key meetings and decisions
Help leadership stay organized, aligned, and focused on what matters most
Bring a systems mindset to how work gets done so the company can operate with increasing leverage over time
Who You Are
3–6 years of experience in consulting, business operations, program management, startups, banking, investing, or similarly demanding cross-functional roles
Exceptionally organized with strong follow-through
Clear, concise communicator with strong written and verbal skills
Comfortable juggling multiple priorities in a fast-changing environment
Highly reliable, low ego, and willing to jump in where needed
Strong judgment and able to handle sensitive information with discretion
Resourceful, proactive, and naturally action-oriented
Excited to work closely with a founder and leadership team
Interested in building systems, improving how a company runs, and helping teams operate more effectively
Nice to Have
Experience working at a startup or in a high-growth environment
Experience supporting senior leaders or managing cross-functional projects
Interest in healthcare, AI, or tech-enabled services
Strong analytical skills and comfort with tools, systems, and workflows
Why Join Preemptive
Work on a mission that matters
Operate at the center of the company with direct exposure to the CEO and leadership team

Join a team building at the intersection of AI, healthcare, and clinical care
