Business Insights Associate (0-2 yrs experience)

We invite you to join us as a Business Insights Associate, reporting into our Business Insights Manager. As a key member of the Business Insights team, you will be a pivotal player in our data-driven decision-making process, helping the company to distill meaningful insights, present them in easily digestible ways, and drive continuous improvement across all areas of the business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Use tools like SQL, Excel, and AWS QuickSight to develop operational and compliance reports for both our internal teams and external partners
• Engage in ongoing process enhancement, ensuring that insights and user experience with our data are always elevating our ability to make data-driven decisions
• Perform other duties as assigned including actively contributing to ad-hoc analytical projects.
• Document reporting in AWS QuickSight to enable better data governance

Required Skills and Experience:

• Familiarity with SQL and Excel
• 0-2 years in a Business Insights role or similar
• Comfortable asking questions to better understand the problem
• Able to break down a complex problem into manageable portions
• Strong ability to document problems, data gaps, and data resources
• Strong passion for numbers/data and the stories they tell
• Meticulous attention to detail
• Ability to communicate clearly, including articulation of complex messages into easily digestible takeaways
• Extremely open to continuous coaching and constructive feedback

Preferred Skills and Experience:

• Expertise in SQL
• Experience with Business Intelligence tools (e.g., Tableau, QuickSight, Metabase, Sigma, etc.)
• Ability to create detailed and organized documentation
• Familiarity with logistics-centric businesses, especially within sectors like healthcare, health-tech, or transportation-tech
