Standing Orders Coordinator

Role Overview
SafeRide Health is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Standing Orders Coordinator to manage recurring transportation schedules for members requiring ongoing medical care. In this role, you will ensure members receive timely and uninterrupted access to life-sustaining treatments by maintaining accurate standing order schedules, processing change requests, and supporting operational excellence. You will oversee all standing order rides, monitor recurring rides for accuracy and completion, and manage escalations to ensure a seamless member experience.
Primary Responsibilities
Standing Order Management
- Manage recurring ride schedules to ensure accurate and timely service.
- Maintain data accuracy and consistency across relevant tools and systems.
Change Requests
- Review, prioritize, and resolve incoming requests and escalations related to ride schedules.
- Ensure timely resolution of requests and escalations within a 4-hour turnaround time (TAT).
- Document resolutions clearly and escalate complex issues as appropriate.
Member & Facility Outreach
- Conduct outgoing calls to members or facilities to gather required information.
- Confirm continuity of care when repeated cancellations or service changes occur.
Quality & Compliance
- Verify that standing orders align with plan-specific requirements (e.g., Medicaid: 30 days, Medicare Advantage: 60 days).
- Track and document modifications in accordance with SafeRide protocols.
Collaboration
- Partner with cross-functional teams (Routing, Network, and Member Services) to ensure seamless scheduling and issue resolution.
- Support new program launches with initial data setup and coordination activities.
Other Duties as Assigned
- Adapt to evolving business needs and support special projects or initiatives as required.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least one (1) year of experience in healthcare coordination, customer service, scheduling, or a related field.
- Proficiency in managing and interpreting large sets of data.
- Familiarity with healthcare terminology related to recurring, life-sustaining treatments (e.g., dialysis, physical therapy).
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in healthcare administration, business, or related discipline.
- Experience with transportation coordination or non-emergency medical transportation (NEMT).
- Prior use of business intelligence tools (e.g., QuickSight).

- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to balance efficiency and accuracy under strict turnaround times.
- Clear and professional communication skills (verbal, written, and phone-based).
- Proficiency in problem-solving and critical thinking when handling complex order changes.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
