About the Role

SafeRide Health is hiring a strategic and hands-on Lead Product Owner to lead the vision, configuration, and continuous improvement of our Salesforce ecosystem and surrounding internal platforms. This is a high-impact individual contributor role that sits at the intersection of product management, systems architecture, and platform administration. You’ll own both the technical foundation and the strategic roadmap for our Salesforce environment, which includes Sales Cloud, Experience Cloud, and several custom Apex integrations—while shaping how other business-critical tools connect into it.

You’ll spend most of your time designing, building, and optimizing Salesforce—creating clean, scalable, high-performance automation that directly improves how our teams operate every day. The role requires someone who can move between strategic planning and tactical execution: translating stakeholder needs into structured platform capabilities, managing system governance and data integrity, and delivering rapid, incremental improvements that add real business value. From managing intake and prioritization to leading release cycles and org health checks, you’ll be the sole owner and point of accountability for one of SafeRide’s most critical internal systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as SafeRide’s sole Salesforce owner and subject matter expert—accountable for platform strategy, system configuration, automation, and documentation.
• Design and implement clean, maintainable record-triggered Flows, validation rules, and process automations to streamline business operations.
• Translate cross-functional requests into user stories, workflows, and prioritized roadmaps, balancing urgent asks with long-term system integrity.
• Own and optimize Experience Cloud portals for external users, ensuring secure and intuitive user experiences.
• Partner with Strategy, Operations, and Technical teams to scope and implement API-based integrations (REST, webhooks, OAuth).
• Manage platform governance including permission sets, profiles, sandbox strategy, and release cycles—with a focus on performance, uptime, and data integrity.
• Conduct regular org health checks, refactor inefficient Flows, and proactively monitor for system risks.
• Stay current on Salesforce releases and new features—bringing forward ideas to continuously improve platform scalability.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on Salesforce experience as an Admin, Developer, or hybrid Product Owner
• Deep expertise in record-triggered Flows, Experience Cloud, custom objects, validation rules, Apex code, Lightning App Builder, SOQL, and schema relationships
• Experience configuring external portals, managing complex user permissions, and governing user access securely
• Strong understanding of API integrations and how Salesforce connects to other platforms (authentication, error handling, payloads)
• Proven track record of owning systems end-to-end—from stakeholder intake to build, deployment, and maintenance
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills—able to explain tradeoffs to technical and non-technical audiences
• Salesforce Administrator or Developer Certification

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in a growth-stage startup or similarly fast-paced environment
• Exposure to healthcare, transportation, or operations-heavy industries
• Familiarity with CI/CD for Salesforce, sandbox management, or version control
• Self-directed learner who regularly engages with Trailhead, SalesforceBen, Automation Champion, or similar
